Sage Wisdom

"Good improvisation communicates harmonic progression melodically. Effective melodies manipulate harmonic content through the use of guide tones and preparatory gravity notes, masterfully woven in systematic tension, release, and transparent harmonic definition."

JazzMando Pick Sampler

PickSamplerDisc.jpg

Regrettably, the following Pick Sampler has been discontinued.
However, if you are interested in a combination of these picks, email us and we can come up with a package similarly priced!

Coming soon, a new signature JazzMando pick!

..........................................................
Here's a convenient opportunity to get a taste of our personal favorite pick, the Ultex 1.14. This pick has incredible articulation and snap, rigid as steel, but a very controllable light weight to it.

The "drop" test: let it fall from 4 feet up to a hard surface and you'll hear the resonant "ping" in the pick by itself. This will be the same distinct tone heard from a real tortoise shell pick (except this is legal and significantly cheaper).

Two sizes, the standard 351 Fender (guitar) shape for a crisper articulation (recommended for TI and JM-11
flatwound strings) and the rounded "Tri" corner for less "pluck" and more meat to the stroke (recommended for Phosphor Bronze strings).

A bonus, the Dunlop Gator Grip pick in a 2.0 gg, this high quality plectra made of the "Tortex" material, incorporates quick release beveled edges and an aggressive matte gripping service. If you suffer from sweaty fingers, this rosin-impregnated coating may be your answer.

With this Sampler pack, you'll get two 421 series (guitar shape) and two 426 (Tri) in the 1.14 gg, the thickest Dunlop makes. Plus, you can try two Gator Grip picks in the thicker 2.0 gg., all for only $5.00!!!

But wait, there's more!...

No ginsu knives, but we are throwing in a handy leather JazzMando logo imprinted key fob for you to carry a few picks around with your car keys. (How many times have you ever wanted to try someone else's mando and you didn't have a pick on you?!...)

Send us $5.00 by clicking PayPal, and we’ll drop one of these in the mail for you. Sorry, US domestic orders only, (some countries Global Priority shipping available for an extra $7.00 charge, but e-mail us first).

PayPalphobic? Use the contact form for a snail mail address, and we'll take a check, too.

This offer limited, so be impulsive!

Need a set of JM-11 Flatwound strings, too?
One JM-11 plus Pick Sampler: $18.50 and click PayPal.
Two JM-11 plus Pick Sampler: $29.50 and click PayPal.
