Sage Wisdom

"Good improvisation communicates harmonic progression melodically. Effective melodies manipulate harmonic content through the use of guide tones and preparatory gravity notes, masterfully woven in systematic tension, release, and transparent harmonic definition."

June 7, 2006 | The Glasse "Sealing"

What an evening... Paul Glasse absolutely knocks 'em dead with his virtuoso, highly tasteful Bebop pyrotechnical skills. He fit in magnificently well backed by the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra in the 2006 Jazz in June concert series in Lincoln, Nebraska, slinging his stunning signature series Stevens Electic 5-string mando. This is the 15th year of the nationally acclaimed Jazz in June series.

Though he suffered a near-fatal auto accident 18 months ago, he has healed sufficiently and is ready to take the world on with his incredible musicianship and playing skills.

He's back!
